How to read these pages
Everything on a community page comes from one of three places, and we say which: the state license register (public record, refreshed weekly), the community's own website (what they say about themselves, with the date we read it), or something we confirmed ourselves by calling or visiting, stamped with the date. If we haven't confirmed a price or an opening, the page says so plainly instead of guessing.
Small homes, listed separately
Arizona also licenses 1,330 assisted living homes in the Valley — houses of ten residents or fewer, usually owner-run, often all-inclusive. They have their own directory so they don't crowd out the communities here; the same rules apply (facts only, labeled by source, and a plain "not yet confirmed" where we haven't checked).
